Movie: Uncharted

My husband and I watched Uncharted last night. It was a really great movie, and I enjoyed every minute of it. It stars Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg who are on an adventure to find Magellan’s lost gold. I’m not going to lie; I find Tom Holland to be a very attractive man. (It’s why I loved his Spiderman movies.)

This film screams for a prequel and a sequel. We get a very small glimpse of Vincent’s past with his older brother, Sam. While the McGuffin may be finding the lost gold, finding out what happened to Sam is a close second. The adventure takes you all over the world and has some very amazing stunts.

While the film is non-stop action, you do get some good character development throughout the story. The plot doesn’t seem to have any gaping holes that hurt the plot. There are, however, some circumstances that make it a little hard to believe it could happen, but that’s why we like movies to begin with. It’s an adventure that goes over the top which is exactly what the viewer wants from this genre.

I sincerely hope they develop this franchise into more films. I’d love to see Tom Holland again.
