I had to go to Walmart to get a few things for my boyfriend after work. While I was there only a short time, I observed the people going about their business. One man had his two kids with him buying a ton of beer and party supplies as well as a gift card. The little boy must have been 7 or 8 years old. The girl was probably 9 or 10. They looked like good people to me. Just the father taking the kids out to forage and bring supplies back to the domicile.
The more I go to the store, the more I realize that we are all more alike than we’d like to think. Kids are always trying to get mom or dad to buy something and the parent says no. The kid throws a fit and the parent gives them stern words. It doesn’t matter what the language is, you know what they’re saying.
